The Power Controller Board is based off of the PIC16F18345 micro-controller and communicates over Serial UART with the Raspberry Pi 2 powered car head unit.
Functions
- Ensures safe shutdown and startup of the Raspberry Pi
- Saves currently playing song in RAM when Pi turns off and resumes playback when Pi turns on
- Interfaces with LCD controller for LCD dimming
