Sparta Connect is a scheduling, homework, and school news application for Sparta High School Students, Parents, and Teachers. It is comprised of iOS and Android client applications and a server application. I made the program towards the end of my high school career and although it was used by a small group of students, it unfortunately never gained widespread adoption. By the time it was ready for everyone, graduation was 2 months away.
Writing this software, I learned a lot more about Java and how to program in Objective-C for iOS. Getting the iOS client to communicate with the Java server was the most challenging task for me.
